Nick is the head designer of Twisted Lab Games. Even on his birthday he is working on game development. This guy never takes a break...
Nick stays busy. He is a carpenter by trade for over 20 years and co-owned a board game cafe in Victoria for 6 years. His drive, mind and passion are his strong traits. While operating the cafe, he started spending down-time creating game ideas. It wasn't until 2024 that he decided to take boardgame development into more than a hobby. Teaming up with his co-owner Alyssa, and friend Cole to make this passion a reality!
Cole - Head Artist
Cole is a Mason by trade and has a huge passion for board games. One of his big draws into the gaming industry is the art that designers put out. Creating visuals for his D&D campaigns, tattoo inspirations and localized art is a passion of his. He attended Edison College, earning a certificate in illustration. He always knew that he wanted to focus on board game art. Cole approached Nick, pitching the idea to form a collaboration in game development. Through this, friendship turned into partnership.
Alyssa - Head of Operations
Nick and Cole were confident with their capabilities but understood there was one last piece of a trifecta missing. Que Alyssa...
Alyssa has a background of directorial and managerial operations. She attended Western University, majoring in Food and Nutritional Sciences. With her expertise in the culinary world, Alyssa and Nick opened a board game cafe in 2020.
At Twisted Lab Games, Alyssa handles most of the "behind the scenes" aspects that fall into running a business.
